I. Background
CD276, CD276 molecule, is also known ad B7-H3 and is a member of the B7 family of immune checkpoint regulators (PMID: 30035102) and may be a co-inhibitory protein for T-cell activation by binding to the IL20RA receptor (PMID: 31308249). Overexpression of CD276 (B7-H3) has been observed to correlate with poor prognosis, cell migration, and cell invasion in many solid tumor types including, endometrial, cervical, breast, kidney, colorectal (PMID: 30035102), non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 31737785), and meningioma (PMID: 31629137).
